OK, so here is Halloween upon us. Every year, the pollsters like to run politicial polls about which political costume sells the most, which is the scariest, etc....
If you could actually BE a politician for halloween night, whom would you be? I didn't put a poll here, since there are many good choices, so write in your answer.
Me? I'd have to go with Bill Clinton. Can you imagine how much fun that guy can have in one night?
ps - My pumpkin carving rocked this year....

Here I go, trying to have a bit of fun, and that is the first reply! Deep, that one there is.... an interesting vote however. What if he isn't where you think he is? I suppose that would be equally as enlighting, so to speak.

I'd come as Fagin, asuming that as it was a 'dress-up-as-a-politician-bash' everyone would know that I was UK PM Gordon Brown - got to pick a pocket or two.
Or perhaps I'd just dress up as a big bottle - folks would still get it, considering he's the biggest bottler to run this country since Chamberlain.

Ok, this thread should now be locked. I mean, seriously. I'd go with Bubba also for that reason too.

I'd go as Emiliano Zapata. I already have the bandito as Dandy costume. Plus a good moustache is a fine accessory.

But I am from Morelos. And I would really speak Spanish for a change.

Ronnie Raygun. Then after the night was over I'd sell the "Is there life after death" story and live out the remainder of my miserable fucking existence being able to pay my bills and maybe take my child on vacation.

Oh. I said I would go as Emiliano Zapata. And my pickup line would be
"I'm from Morelos."
You know, as opposed to being from outer space.

Lots of good choices (unfortunately), but I would be:
General Than Shwe, head of the ruling junta in Myanmar.
First, I would call a meeting with all senior officers and have them locked away where nobody could find them for at least a week.
Then I would (publicly) decree that all political prisoners, including (especially?) Buddhist monks be immediately released from captivity.
Then I would hold a televised ceremony in which I turn over the reigns of government to the duly elected representative of the people, Aung San Suu Kyi, and advise that all soldiers and civil servants follow her instructions to the letter.
Then I would probably...take a couple of hundred million ill-gotten dollars and get the hell out of Dodge.
Just kidding. ;) 25 million and a damned big boat would suffice.
