Is there any GOOD poetry contests out there that doesn't require anything higher than a $5 entry fee? I googled to death and I can only find "poetry.com" over and over again :bang . Any links are appreciated :D

Every magazine out there that accepts poetry has a contest every month. The entry fee is postage; the prize is publication.

There are links to a page about legitimate poetry contests, markets, etc. at the bottom of the SFWA Writer Beware page on vanity anthologies:www.sfwa.org/beware/contests.html#Vanity (http://www.sfwa.org/beware/contests.html#Vanity)
Hope this helps. And thanks to Victoria for putting those links on her page. :hail
P.S. There is a link directly to the links on that page, but I couldn't get it to work. :(

As always, follow the guidelines to the letter.

Most libraries also post genuine poetry contests. Pop in and have a wee look.
Good luck,

If you swing by the poetry forum I posted a link to the ottakar contest there. In terms of magazines, it depends which genre your poetry is in.

No, Poetry.com isn't one.
