You've been here before--or it might be new to some of you--10 random words: Fit as many of them into a poem as you can:

quaff
foment
indelible
pablum
evanescent
enervate
ascribe
chimera
trammel
evince

As always, I'll play later.

Ok, I'll play. I don't know if this is what you're looking for or if there is some specific layout required, but here goes:

Whiskey Dreams

Falling, falling, the spirit is calling.
Calling as a long lost friend, calling
A haunting harmonica shrill

falling.

Fomented by a wry kiss, I scoff
At gods ascribing me unto damnation,
Deeper descent follows with freshened quaff;
Snared in the trammel of my own creation.

Evanescent images that I find -
Pablum smeared face tearfully remembered -
Sear what’s left of enervated mind,
Gone, as a summer’s dying September;

Indelible scars map out each event -
Guideposts through the broken chimera -
Evince the effects of tacit consent;
Shattered dreams of a bygone era.

No particular form required. You've used them and framed them within a cogent poem.

That's the idea.

Well done.

Well...it's been 3 days.
Come on somebody. Don't leave me here like the lone boob flopped out of the fancy dinner dress.

my eyes full, I ascribe him God-certain
already indelible in waking dreams
...a trammel to my defenses
already evanescent in barroom light

loneliness foments me
the days...no,
months of mending from a chimera's talons
enervating in their poison
I was near pablum in his eyes
until, I closed mine to him

now, head up...shoulders back
evincing confidence...surety
I drink

once quaffed, he'll become my addiction

Indelible

In the realm of beauty and love
There is none so composite as you
Who in my dreams possesses me complete.

Your lips evince the dewy rose
Upon whom we lavish gaze,
And foment urge to brush with touch.

Drawn to your skin I inspire
A gleam of passion’s glow
That in its perfection floods reason.

Drinking in your eyes ablaze
Savor the ambiance of iris
Quaff the moment of your gaze.

Hand trammelled by coif
Longs to range your tresses
Make disarray upon the morning pillow. .

Scanning face intuit affection,
Which like a chimera flits
From brow to chin ascribing nothing.

Upon your neck my hand
Enervates my body
Limp, with ardor I fall toward you.

That once upon a kiss
Would in this mounting bliss
Find lust, sated, evanescent joy.
