I have to say this was one heckuva film don't you think? It's on Cinemax now and almost over, I've been watching it this afternoon and enjoying it all over again. I think there was a certain chemistry between Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson that was just awesome. And Patrick Stewart was simply grand in this film. :D
Did you like it as much as I did? ;)

It didn't suck.
Its probably the only Julia Roberts movie I've been able to sit through.

Echoing the Julia Roberts sentiment, and I've been reflecting on how many 'he's crazy!' parts Mel Gibson has played....hmmmmmm. Still, it was a good movie, and who hasn't wanted to bite Patrick Stewart? (not on those, though.);)

I liked Mel in this one, though it does feel like the same role from other movies where he's been a crazy man, he does it so well. As far as the movie goes it was really interesting I think, that he was the one sent to go after her dad and then he ends up trying to save him. I liked that scene where she was beating on him and was still thinking he'd been the one to do Daddy in... Great scene. :)

Mel doesn't have a lot of range, but he does crazy-guy pretty well. I picked this one up in the five-dollar bin--twice. (Oops.) I've seen it several times now and enjoyed it just fine.

It was an okay movie. Not their best.

I enjoyed it enough to buy it (on sale) to watch again. Oddly enough, what aroused my interest most was the newspaper Mel's character wrote. It gave me an idea that I haven't developed yet; got to watch that yet again...
Locking everything up tickled me. It would be a good way to diet. :D
