My Dell Latitude D400 is being mean to me. Again. :(

All I did was cheat on it with a Mac.

Now my Dell is saying I've got low disk space.

Oooh, cheating on your PC with a Mac is bad mojo. I only did it once. Then my Mac had babies and I had to drop the PC, he was getting suspicious.

Sorry, but the PC deserved it.

That's what you get with a Dell. Eat it!

Kudra

Well, if he hadn't crashed all the time in the first place, you wouldn't have had to go looking elsewhere, would you?

maestrowork

Dump the PC and just marry the Mac. Haven't crashed once since February (and it was just a lock-up).

The thing is, I still need the Dell because I'm too lazy to import all my songs (almost 4000) to the Mac.

Macs rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Macs rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right!

Years ago a friend of mine had a t-shirt that said, "Do you know what IBM stands for? I'd buy a Mac!"

What is up with PC's and de-fragging the hard drive? What's that for? Huh? Feel the Mac love filling up the water cooler...

The Mac comes with a process/program to import all your files from your PC. :) (just need an USB cable) And all your music can be imported into iTune, which comes with the Mac.

The process is practically painless.

p.s. HAHA.... defragging... that's so 1990s. Practically medieval.

Macs. Ew.

My PC hasn't crashed once in 4 years. It's a Dell, too.

I repeat. Macs. Ew.

Travel to Europe or buy a Mac? Travel to Europe or buy a Mac? Travel to Europe or buy a Mac? Travel to Europe or buy a Mac?

You see how difficult it is to make these kind of decisions?

DamaNegra

Europe. Definietly. Slowly back away from that Mac....

maestrowork
09-30-2007, 12:19 AM
Sacrilegious! Get a Mac, then take it to Europe!

badducky
09-30-2007, 12:23 AM
I'll happily travel to Europe instead of the Mac if Kitkat travels with me.

Ich kann Deutsch. With your South Asian cultural knowledge and my German language skills and god-like liver, we'll be able to conquer Berlin.

maestrowork
09-30-2007, 12:24 AM
I want to go to Berlin with KitKat! Badducky can stay in the suitcase.

badducky
09-30-2007, 12:28 AM
Of course, CHinese language skills are quite handy in certain neighborhoods of London.

However, Ray is more of a Vancouver traveling companion. They have a very large Chinatown, and a Hollywood north film culture that would make an actor useful.

Germany, however, is more fun with me than with anyone on earth. It's been blogged about by others. You can find it if you know where to look.

maestrowork
09-30-2007, 12:50 AM
But it's more fun to go to a beer hall and just point at the menu. It's more fun to sing those songs without knowing a single word. It's more fun to hop on a train without knowing where you're going. I'm sure KitKat would agree!

Besides, I'm cuter.

badducky
09-30-2007, 02:33 AM
Cuter is subjective.

Older is not.

Don't forget older. Much older.

What's it like being so old, Ray? Do you qualify for AARP, yet?

Speaking of getting dumped, poor KitKat (I was only kidding, promise! I don't date women I meet on the internet! Heck, sometimes I don't date women at all!) has dumped this thread.

maestrowork

LOL! You guys make me feel like I'm in a bar. :D

What kind of bars do you hang out at? ;)

brokenfingers
09-30-2007, 04:24 AM
Oh, the typical kind. Where two guys will break into an argument with each other, over a woman who doesn't even acknowledge them. :D

maestrowork
09-30-2007, 04:25 AM
And then a third guy comes into the fight without even knowing the first two guys and the woman....

So, you think KitKat doesn't acknowledge me? Ha ha. Hahaha.

I'd say something about KitKat, but I don't like to talk about people behind their back.

*looks around* nope. no sign of her.

Your ship has sailed, duckie.

badducky
09-30-2007, 07:00 AM
I had a ship?

I never had a ship.

Fortunately, my ego is large enough to float on its own.

Edit: Ray, did you mean to type that my shit has sailed? Yes, my bullshit has taken to the high seas. It is sailing across the waters to ravage and pillage the trade routes of Hispaniola. Yes. The S.S. Craptastic now has all your base.

maestrowork
09-30-2007, 07:03 AM
It's not the size of your ship... oh, you don't have one. Never mind. :-}

badducky
09-30-2007, 07:13 AM
It's not the size of your shit... Oh, never mind, it really is all about the size of your bullshit.

Hey, Ray, didn't you have a date tonight? Why are you still here?

Do you post to message boards whilst on dates?

maestrowork
09-30-2007, 07:24 AM
I went already -- dinner etc. and did the Hop Around Town thing for a bit. We came back to my place.... um... I'm doing a quick change so we could go out to the clubs later. Maybe a bit later... ;)

So I'm just checking messages and a quick glance at AW... I'm off now. ;)

badducky
09-30-2007, 07:34 AM
Riiiight.

Well, I'm drinking piss shiraz and editing a book on another screen, and when my eyes feel like they're bleeding I come over to mess with you.

In all seriousness, we had our fun, but let's end this before I start to take cheap shots.

I love you Ray. Yer my friend.

KitKat was learning writing with Uncle Jim all day, and wondering if he's ever been to Europe. :D

Hmm... Maestro or Ducky? Maestro or Ducky? Maestro or Ducky. You see how tough it is to make these kinds of decisions!

Which of you fellas likes to take a lady dancing?

Um, no. But we don't want Ducky to know that, do we? *looks around to make sure*

Btw, it looks like Europe might actually happen next year. For real! Yeah! (I lived in London as a kid, so I can't wait to go see my old home, even if it's just from the outside.)

The Mac will have to wait.

badducky
10-02-2007, 07:49 AM
My next European adventure hinges on my literary agent and a couple editors.

Until then: Don't touch those paintings, folks.

Also, Mridu, whatever you did in the past is totally in the past. Especially because I don't feel threatened by the elderly. I'll dance on his grave someday. For now, we can go ride bikes to the bunker where Hitler died and dance on his grave instead.

And I'll have you know I've been married seventeen times, so there! So much for your bridesmaid theory!

I had my first beer in over 15 years at the Guinness Brewery.

I still don't like beer. However, I discovered I DO like Guinness!!

Did you know they started the book of world records? Yeah, of course you did ... I'm the one just catching up!

Jameson Distillery was fun too.

I think after Spain we should head back to the island ........
