I love the way so many people here fall back on unflattering candid pictures of public figures in a pathetic attempt to illustrate (not prove) a point. My God, the galactic champion of unflattering photos has to be George W. Bush. Even with those, it's become boring and stupid. You have something critical to say about Hilary Clinton, SAY IT. An unflattering photo is dumber than anything she's ever done in her life. And I say the same thing about photos of George W. Bush. Which is REALLLY stretching it, considering.

Actually, Pen Dragon aka Bad Penny invented that.

And Bravo, like a teenage girl, uses it whenever he feels like it.
Just give credit where credit is due.

Sure she has better pictures... why must it be her? Who is she and what does she stand for?... many of us think we know and can only make those assessments based on what we've seen and heard from her... questions for every candidate and most give us deflective BS and safe answers.

Really? You mean a presidential candidate should not be judged solely on appearance?

Really? You mean a presidential candidate should not be judged solely on appearance?Well, I wouldn't say they should be judged by their looks ALONE. I also weigh how much they cost and what kind of pork they can send my way.
But looks make for about 80% of my vote.

Oh, did I mention that they come across as incredibly sexist and bigoted? Perhaps not. Okay, I will now: They come across as incredibly sexist and bigoted.

She's a carpetbagging opportunist who stayed married to her adulterer husband solely for the political power of his name, devoutly tied to socialism, a staunch supporter of whatever the polls tell her to support, a classic tax-and-spend democrat with no regard at all for the economic damage her taxes would do.
And she looks funny in these pictures, too.

Of all the corrupt, disgusting, opportunist, power hungry things our next Prez has done... she's done nothing...and i mean NOTHING that offends me more than...

I don't see her losing.
Maybe that's how I really feel or maybe that's my defense mechanism of needing five years to accept that she will be our next President so that when it happens I don't go off the deep end.
Like Haskins.
We have to accept it now or it will kill us later.

Not true. And it's not outrage, just disdain for the inanity of them. They are long past being even remotely humorous, and I've expressed my disdain for these kinds of photos, explicitly including those of Bush, before in this forum. It's worse if they're photoshop altered.

No, but insinuations based on a bunch of links and our apparent failure to not scold anyone who puts up an ugly pic of George W. Bush is, I guess.
Or I'll just re-cast it this way:
I agree with blac. i think the altered pics are mostly idiotic and long past the funny point. But you're whining.

Gee, Roger, sorry we didn't object every single time someone posted a silly picture of Bush in the middle of a thread. Maybe we were in the middle of a conversation, and opted to ignore a post that failed to contribute to it.
This time, someone started a thread about a silly picture, so the conversation would tend to revolve around that. There is no "expression of outrage." blacbird just thought it was pointless, and said that it was just as "boring and stupid" to post pictures of George Bush.
