I have it quoted and saved as some random writing, but I can't for the life of me remember if I wrote it or pulled it from some work. Does anyone recall these words from a short story or novel?
I'm stumped.
I'm stumped.
I have a hard wife who demands much of me, although we've been divorced for many years. She wants more. As though I had a kingdom of sheep and goats to offer.
The first year of our separtion she demanded my small pension. At first, I balked loudly at her demands for I was without a pence and winter was just a month or so away.
I hate doing that because I rack my brains trying to come up with a name and end up leaving with "Now where do I know him from?"
