Hey there! I live just south of you in good ole Arnold. Used to live in South County, till husband and I bought a house in Arnold. I don't really do shorts--I've tried and failed miserably--but I wanted to say hi to a fellow St. Louisan! =)

DL, you just missed a bunch of us getting together at NASFic, in Collinsville. I'm certain your exclusion is all Stew's fault (though, of course, she'll blame Dawno.) There is a Meet & Greet (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=157) subforum in the Roundtable. You might be able to find some people in your area.

HEY! I didn't even know she was a writer until after NASFic! And she was there, too, just not with us!

Hey DL! I'm a little bit east of you, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. (72 miles east, and about 2 decades behind the Arch.)
We have a small writers group that meets at Riley's Coffee and Fudge (http://www.rileys-coffee.com/) in Belleville, most Saturdays.
