33 years a scribe and still looking!

Writing since 1974, 3 books + translations, hundreds of articles, advertorials, photos, and still can't get an agent to promote my unpublished books. Is it because I shower and shave too often?

I'm not entirely clear on your problem. You've published three books with legit, royalty-paying publishers, but you can't interest any agents in helping with contract negotiations, or you've written three unpublished books and you're trying to find an agent to sell your work to publishers?

In any case, in Share Your Work there's a forum for query letter help. You might try posting your query letter there for people to go over.

ETA: Oh, I see. I somehow missed that whole "my unpublished books" part. <slaps forehead> I still recommend posting your query in SYW to see if people there can spot the problems. Are the unpublished works standalone?

I see you're in Canada. Are you trying agents in the UK and US or just in Canada?
