I don't know if you love Bucky Cat like I love Bucky Cat (he's the spitting image and personality of our missing cat, Scat)...

But today's Get Fuzzy was awesome.

I love Bucky the cat. I don't get the newspaper anymore but I still read him on-line. I cancelled my subscription when I realized that comic was the only reason I was actually still paying for it! :D

Tidbit: The Bucky character is actually based on Louie Depalma.

this is much funnier and true --

How many members of the Bush administration does it take to change a light bulb?

1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed;
2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed;
3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb;
4. One to arrange the invasion of a country rumored to have a secret stockpile of light bulbs;
5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb;
6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a step ladder under the banner: Light Bulb Change Accomplished;
7. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how Bush was literally in the dark;
8. One to viciously smear #7;
9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light-bulb-changing policy all along;
10. And finally one to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country.

How many economists does it take to change a light bulb?
None. If the government would just leave it alone, it would change itself.

How many Liberal Democrats does it take to change a light bulb ?
None. "Well it's not just a question of should we or should we not change the light bulb, but also a question of ...[insert talking points here]"

that was almost funny, robieae.

the talking point thing kinda kills it. that joke needs more of a killer ending.

Someone sent it to me, long ago. I may be mis-remembering how it went, exactly.

Wait, there's one for Canada:

How many Canadians does it take to change a light bulb?

Only one. But he needs to watch an American do it, first.

How many editors does it take to change a light bulb?

No clue. I ran screaming when I saw a bunch of editors in a dark room.
