Tonights progress

Hey everyone. I'm fairly new here as you can tell from the amazing number of 3-4 posts! So please don't shoot me if i'm posting this in the wrong place or it's been posted a thousand times before but I wanted to get a general feel from the crowd I am mingling with at the moment.

My question is... How much progress have you made today/tonight with your own writing? How many words have you done and are you satisfied? Thank you for reading and happy writing!

Hey, and welcome. :)

I have transcribed (from longhand scribbled in a notebook) and written the pleasing number of 777 words tonight of a children's story; and just posted the last paragraph in the "Post the last para of what youve written TODAY" thread. I'm reasonably happy with what Ive done, but have been rather p*ssing about today, and I wish I'd done less of that and more writing.

Oh, and I also wrote up part of my travel diary from a recent tour on my MySpace page, some 1500 words. I am rather pleased with that.

I've done just over 2000 words tonight, which if i'm honest I am chuffed with because it's taken me a year and a half to get to the 21k mark lol...

Well I say that, what i've done is written the first chapter a good year and a half ago, then not done any for 6 months, then not touched it again until this past week, but i'm really getting some momentum now and I hope it continues. My progress the last 3 days has been because of this website, you people inspire me! So thank you all:)

Here's (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49429) a great thread where you can post a daily or weekly report on what you've written.

Today was a filling-out-forms day for me, and a post-on-AW day, too. I didn't work on any true writing projects. I do that occasionally.

ETA: writing 2000 words in a night is great! Way to go!

Don't do word, but wrote two chapters (about 20 pages) and only have four chapters to go!!!

1,081 today in the library. I hope to squeeze out a few more after my girls go to sleep (and write some more too). I'm happy with it.

I just finished drafting a chapter that's been nagging me for quite a while. Two more to go, but these two are going to be the hardest by far. Hopefully all of the torturing I've done to my MC will have prepared him for what is to come! :)

Welcome, welcome. I've done a bit over 1200 today on my WIP, and I'm going to write a bit more tonight before bed.

It's pretty standard for me to put in 1-2k on a good day. Anything over that is, well, fabulous! :D
