Well, it came a little too little and a little too late, but Mike Nifong has made the ultimate admission that he fucked up the Duke Lacrosse case by resigning today.

He is a double-talking weasel. He should be flogged for that "To the extent that . . ." evasion.

Gotta give him props for arrogance - he stuck it out as long as he could and only gave in when truly threatened.
Not saying he's any less despicable for it, but not a man to be bullied by facts. (Free shot at Bush for the next poster...)

That may yet happen. There were a couple of the players' parents who looked like they wouldn't be happy until they had his private parts and a few choice organs mounted above the mantle.

He's hoping to avoid being disbarred, is all. That is the only reason he resigned.
I guarantee it. The guy is full of it.
The best ending would be, if he does get disbarred. Then, the families sue him.

Well, yeah... you fuck with the children of the illuminati... suddenly the girl who got raped had 5 other men in her room that night, and your career is over.
Stupid DA. Shoulda gone after Dartmouth students.

Freemason's, Dclary. The Illuminati would've had him commite suicide.
Resigning in shame during a public spectical is more the Freemason's style.

I'll tell you what I know:
1) filling one small martini shaker 1/2 with sweet-n-sour mis, 1/4 with jamision irish whisky, slightly less than 1/4 with apple pucker makes a mighty fine Irish Lemonade.
2) up,up,down, down, left, right, left, right,b,a,b,a,start will get you 30 lives on snes Contra.
3) The Freemasons will publicaly disgrace your butt because you might be useful, while the Illuminati will whack your butt, and if they need something from you later will have you cloned. Like Ozzy Ozborne.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and 1978 graduate of the UNC School of Law, Nifong began his law career in 1978 as a volunteer for the 14th Prosecutorial District in Durham and became an assistant district attorney in April 1979.
This only makes the Duke/UNC rivarly that much better. Can't wait for college basketball to start now.
Ha! His dumb ass was disbarred today.
And, Williamson, the presiding judge of his disbarrment trial, totally laid the smack down on him and called him out on all the egregiously dishonest (arguably criminal) behavior he committed.
The lacrosse players' attorneys have said that they're not done with Nifong yet and it looks like they're looking to go after him for civil charges.

Sick thing is, Nifong still thinks "something went on," that night. He won't ever let it go, even though he gave a fake apology to the boys and their families.
Possibly, he'll be up on criminal charges, as well, for concealing evidence.
What an ass. He deserves whatever the court can throw at him, and more. Not only is he a disgrace, but he's also made it more difficult, imo, for women to report rape in the future. A double disservice, to everyone.

How did he make it more difficult? If anything, he went hard after those boys. I'd fear any charges being brought up against me there. Who's to say that the new DA won't take just as hard of a stance? Those boy were/are guilty in his eyes.

Exactly. He went hard after the boys on manufactured evidence and an unreliable witness. And withheld DNA evidence.
From here on out, women will be even more scrutinized/humiliated/embarrassed than they are now, prior to having an honest rape case actually brought to fruition/justice.

I won't even type this jerk's name. Hopefully the civil courts will put him onto the soup line at the local Salvation Army.
This whole case was willful grandstanding to the electorate for an term in office.
Reap what you sow, prick.
