a) Girl gets ridiculed about being a Mormon by schoolmates. Religious intolerance!
b) She replies with "That's so gay!" Genderific insults!
c) She gets penalized by the school, including a mark in her permanent record for using the word "gay" derogatorily. Word Nazis! Thought Police!
d) Her parents SUE for millions of dollars for emotional trauma. Tort abuse!
e) Judge says The law "is simply too crude and imprecise an instrument to satisfactorily soothe deeply hurt feelings." Well holy no fucking duh!!!
If that's TRULY TRUE, then how the hell did we even GET here? We're building an entire society and rule of law BASED on not hurting people's feelings.
