I love this forum! I have learned sooooo much from the people here, but never signed in myself. I finally did it, so here I am. I am just starting the query process for a non-fiction proposal, and I am waiting with the rest of you who also have requested fulls out. I try not to check my email too often :)

If you're at the beach, you may see me offshore. Unless you're a tarpon, though, we may never meet; but it's good to see you here just the same.

This place gets hot sometimes, so don't be afraid to have a seat right over there in the shade, under that cabana. Isn't that nice? Here, have a Margarita.

And like Maryn said, be careful not to track sand all over the place!

Thanks all for making me feel so welcome. I'll try not to get sand all over the place.

When I'm not here, I can be found laying in the shade at the beach, reading a good book (or writing what hopefully will become one), and watching the waves roll by. At least I will be there in my mind...
