Ambiguously Arabic/Jewish names?

I have a character caught in between these two groups that I want an in-between name for, one that could belong to either group. Are there any last names that could be either Arabic or Jewish?

I was thinking of using a family name that was a place, like
Jordan, or Meshed (a city in Iran) or maybe one that is a description, or an occupation.

Any suggestions?

FYI, Iranians speak Farsi not Arabic. They're not Arabs.
