I'm trying to get a post up before 10 am every day.... I've managed it for three days now.
This morning, I posted a very basic primer on deducting business expenses (http://www.thursdaybram.com/?p=61). I've run across a lot of freelancers who seem to have a lot of questions about the topic, so I figured I'd start trying to handle some of the basics.

For those who haven't found my second post spotlight, there are a few magazine guideline links and information about the magazines on my blog as well. I posted the direct link in the freelance thread. There are more of those to come as well!

Wow! Everybody's really busy with their blogs! I'm with you Thursdayb- I'm trying to get back to that schedule too. I think it's important for people to know that if they check out your blog at a certain time, they can find fresh words.
Mysti- Three in one day? You are a stinkin' overachiever. I vote you most likely to succeed!
Jennifer, your interview is fabulous. Everyone should go check it out. It is not only inspiring, but also a great example of how to make a written-interview, super-engaging. Love the photos...that adds so much to it. Live and learn!
Hmmm...oh yeah, guess what? I just figured out how to upload a photo to my blog, within the text. I uploaded a photo of said-branch which threatened my life 24 hours ago. Go see it.

I posted an essay on my blog about using the Rocky Stairs as a writing prompt to find the story of achieving your greatest dream. It is based on a book written by Immersion Journalist Michael Vitez about parking himself at the top of the Philadelphia Museum of Art stairs, waiting for people to get out of their cabs and run up the stairs. Then he interviewed them to find their Rocky Story. It's a good exercise if you want a writing prompt for your own life.

I've got a bit of a disjointed post up... diversifying your portfolio (http://www.thursdaybram.com/?p=64). This is why writing posts ahead of time is a good idea -- when you're feeling sick, it won't show in your writing.

I updated my daily blog, the one on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) (http://www.formytummy.com/). It was a funny post, adventitiously making fun of a running group of posts on the new probiotic called "Align." I've also punned on that word, and it's the most frequently used search term. Just call me the go-to person for Align (outside of their web site, aligngi.com).
I also did a lot of clean-up and freshening up of the main Memoirista web site. (http://www.memoirista.com/)The most significan change, I think, is that I put copy for the wiki part of the site on the main page. The Wiki contains the AgentQuery Submission Guidelines (http://wiki.memoirista.com/), for which we have permission to republish, and resize. These submission guidelines are difficult to find on the Agent Query website, and when you do your eyes may fail, trying to read them. Hence the "appropriation" of their material with their permission.

This is for the record: On the day that ended this past midnight, I updated the IBS blog with a post about the this-is-not-good rollout of Align, (tm) a probiotic for IBS treatment.
I did twenty minutes of stationary bicycle.
Both efforts were all but finished by 7:00 pm when my daughter called. Somehow, in the first few minutes of her call, I flicked a finger and, without my seeing it, three pages of code replicated itself and messed up the sidebar to my blog for the rest of the evening.

OK, how about the rest of you bloggers? Did you update recently?
In a normal week I update my personal blog, Peterography (http://www.peterography.com), once or twice a week; when I travel I often update every day.
I also update frequently in a different sense: WP allows you to edit old entries without changing the date, so I often reread old entries and decide I don't like the wording or something and fix it. When I'm really busy I'll sometimes create a "placeholder" entry for that date and flesh it out a day or two later.
I'm in the process of starting a music blog, Music4Peter.com, which may go live in a few days and i don't know what the update frequency will be on that.

I didn't just update it, I moved the s.o.b. over to WordPress. Screw Blogger and their "no tech support" blogs. Check out my new digs...and a picture story of some dumbass getting arrested not far from my home at around 3:30 a.m.
