Hi, I'm a new member and somewhat new to writing Childrens Books. I have several questions, if you all dont mind spenid some time reading my topic lol.
Is there a word or page limit that publishers look for?
Which publishing companies are best to contact for Childrens Books for ages 6yrs and under?
What are some good sites to visit on this subject?
I'm sure I'll have more questions, as I think of it.
Thanks for the help!

Hey welcome! You may want to check out the Tool Kit at the top of the Children's Writing forum, it has some pretty good advice. Also I always recommend people visit www.write4kids.com, it has excellent advice!

Thank you all, I've ordered "The idiots guide to publishing childrens books", I dont plan on submitting any of my stories until I read that book cover to cover.

I would also recommend the Children's Write'rs and Illustrator's Market book for 2007 (it's green). I couldn't live without it - just be sure to check publishers' websites for updated guidelines in case some have changed their policies. Good luck :)
