And for Halloween, I present to you, a real ghost video. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQQS-0ZOMcg)

This is cool. This is the sort of thing where I wish the TAPS guys were around to try and debunk it. I wonder if they could, or if they would think it's actually haunted.

Enjoy! Tell me when the goosebumps go down!

Roses are red
Violets are black.
Have a boo-ful Halloween

The sterner stuff is from being a mom. :D Not something for the faint of heart. I spend my days surrounded by cub scouts and little boys in cleats. Now THAT is scary. And my boys' bathroom. *shudders and reaches for blankie*

Thanks for the Halloween poem, Susie. It's been a cazy week and I could use some smiles.

I hate Halloween. Even when I was a kid I hated it.

:( That makes me all around sad inside.

I love Halloween, not just for the holiday itself (for which I don't do much, except read things like Ray Bradbury's The Halloween Tree) I just like the time of year, the smell of the air, the air itself which is chill and snappish. The blowing leaves, the kids in costumes, the dorky music, the great movies I get on television....I just like the time of year.

Give me a couple months, though, and I'll be saying something similar about Christmas too. :)

Yay, that was fun!

My daughter put the halloween decorations up the other day. She likes to stretch it out as much as possible. I like having the little plastic bat watching me while I write.

Perhaps I am the suspicious type, but when I am instructed to "look closely" at anything, I tend to back away a couple of feet. I may have ruined the effect a bit--but I will definitely test it out on my 7-year-old :evil laugh:

I hate you.

The first time someone used something like that - it was this thing where while you were watching, something was supposed to change in the room, and you had to figure out what, and then there's this utterly terrible face on the screen, screaming - I shrieked in horror, leapt out of my chair, and was all the way across the room before I realized that I'd moved. My brother, who'd sent it to me, was listening at the door, and instantly dissolved into laughter, and mom came to see what was wrong.

I also knocked the chair over in my mad dash for safety.

Hey, the thing was full-screen and something was supposed to change so I was looking really closely!

Anybody look at the other videos on the web page? Some are pretty funny, some are pretty creepy.

PeeDee

My wife looked through some of the others. I, being a manly man, went back to my notebooks and did not look up again for an hour, which is about when my heart slowed down...... :)

I'd seen it before and knew what to expect, and it still scared the whatsit out of me. and my nearly 11 yos nearly had a heart attack. He was 'this' close to crying, but laughed in the end. It's pretty scary!

PeeDee! You little...

Somehow I don't think TAPS would debunk that.

But Grant and Jason might try one of thier own.

Man, I love that show.

Grant and Jason DID try one of their own. Remember? In the graveyard, when the others "thought they saw a shadow!" and then Jason lunged at them screaming and wearing a big costume.
