What software, if any, does everyone use?
I use sophocles for screenwriting, but I don't find anything for playwriting.
What is your favorite software and why?

Well...I bought Movie Magic Screenwriter, which comes with a special playwriting format...otherwise...Word always works good...

My writing programs of choice are Open Office, which is free to all, and Sophocles.
I support both of these in any way I can. I remember a time when I could afford very little and very little was available to me. Therefore I support any business that supplies a version of their product that the poor, the broke, and the very young, can use and benefit from.

Hi there, I was just wondering if you could give me more info on Open Office. From the quick web search that I've done, it looks like its just a free version of Word. If you already have word...what are the advantages of this program? Does it have special areas to assist with formatting and stuff?
Thanks,
Mindelei
