Hello everyone!

I just wanted to make myself known to all those wonderful and inspirational people out there whom have taken the time to help others in their writing process and maybe add little ole me to that list of questionnaires!

A little spoof about me:

I'm what you'd call one of those indecisive people who just can't make up their minds on what they want to do in life. I'm just not satisfied with any single hobby that I accumulate. And believe me that list is still growing... sewing, costuming, painting, singing, dancing, sculpting, programming, photography, drawing, animation and now I've added to my list writing. At the moment I'm going to concentrate on short stories because I was once told that when you get inspired and creative what was intended as a short story sometimes ends up a novel. Just so everyone knows first hand, I've been told a lot of things that I'll be confirming with those more experienced than me.

It's been about 2 years since I graduated high school and since I no longer have my English teachers breathing down my back about the 'late' homework assignment, I have all this creative energy just bubbling up ready to type! So here I am everyone! Get ready to criticize!!!

Welcome Akane.

Don't frown. Not everyone gets the welcome mat rolled out for a "hi" post. Explore the boards, find a thread that tweaks your interest and just jump in.

:)

Well, thanks;)
I just might do that, might get a better response.

Welcome, Akane! Sorry I'm late with the mat... hang on...

(rolling out big mat that says "Welcome, Akane!")

:)

Writing does become so much cooler after high school English, I must say. My teachers were nice, and some of them even wonderful, but I was always concerned with what they'd think of me and what kind of grade I would get. Once I got past that, my writing was so much freer-- and better.

Hey, yea! Thanks so much and I agree with the high school thing....wondering, are there any threads already posted about writer's block? If so, point me in the *write direction.
