Hi newbie from Boston area here

Hi there!
My name is Debbie. I am not a professional writer, but I do write in my spare time. I find that I have so many stories and characters popping into my head, that I have to write them down and get them out. Does anyone else feel like that? I don't know too much about writing other than what I've read in books, so hoping to learn on this forum.
