I would if I had read them when they came out. But in anticipation of the last movie(s) I actually read them for the first time just this past year.
Yeah I read them originally the first 3 consecutively before the fourth came out, then as they appeared thereafter.
A month? Hmm. I hope to pound it out in under a month... I suppose I could calculate how fast I read and the number of words in the books and figure out what my fastest possible time could be but, that's a lot of work though.

I've read them out of order: 2, 1, 3 then the rest in publication order.
The last few took me about a fortnight each to get through. Way, way too baggy and could have done with a machete editing them.
I'm sure Rowling couldn't give a toss about my opinion of them, though.

There were already two or three of them out when I discovered them, so I read those in quick sucession and then before each subsequent release, I'd reread the whole series up to that point in preparation.

I'm in. I should really retouch on the series before I watch the second part of the last movie.

I totally min-maxed my HP experience by waiting until they'd all been published to read them. You know how y'all blitzed through each of them on day they came out? I did that with all seven, all at once. Through the power of unemployment and reading so fast I missed vital information, I finished the whole series in exactly one week.

So a week is totally possible. Good to know my extensive smack talking may be accurate...
Also we've created a goodreads group named after this thread and plan to start on June first.

That is exactly what I did (but it took me two weeks). I kept meaning to read them when they were coming out, and just never got around to it. Started seeing previews for the last movie that came out, and got so excited. So I picked up the first at the library, and the first movie. Read the book. Watched the movie. Read the second book, watched the movie, and so on. I would have finished them sooner, but had to wait on a few books at the library.
So glad I waited to read them all at once, instead of one at a time, then having to sit around for however long until the next one came out.

I can read the big ones in two to three days usually. Combined with the small ones...maybe two weeks? Give or take a few days...Of course I don't know how fast you read so it could vary. My brother can read a big one a day easy. But he's a really fast reader and can zone out into the book pretty well.

My husband read them all in 2 weeks while working 60-hour weeks.
I read the first 3 at one per day and the others took a few days

Depends how fast you read I suppose. I did them in 2-6/7 hrs each as a kid. So as you can see at first it will be very quick but as you get toward the end the books will be alot more chunky to get through.
