Everyone needs a life plan. Mine, for example, is to outlive all the males in my high school graduating class, then call Frannie Meyer and see if she still won’t go out with me now that I really am, “… the only guy in the whole class.”
However, a friend of mine has a much better plan. I ran into her the other day and she told me she was going for her fifth, that’s right, fifth, college degree. She explained that what she does is get a degree, work for a few years in her field, get bored, then get another degree and so on.
“And your ultimate goal?” I asked.
“To pay off my student loans with my social security,” she replied. Now that's a plan.
