I'm new! Love this place, there's a strong community feel, it's a great resource, and strolling through the threads has been wildly entertaining, as well as helpful.
I live in Nova Scotia at the moment, have a husband, a dog, and two cats.
I also have Fibromyaliga Syndrome, and I'm of the lucky 15% who is disabled. Working outside the home just isn't an option, but I've always written, and I've been editing for a while, and so I'm trying my hand at freelancing in both. It was my husband who suggested that I make writing and editing my focus, and here I am, still wet behind the ears, and really feeling like I can...you know...DO STUFF. (Sounds silly, but I haven't felt that I could do anything for a long, long time.)
I'm even published, something I didn't even conceive as possible, say 6 months ago.
