Open to all forum members, even after it starts!

This month's prompt:
fireice.jpg

You can do either or both, compare and contrast, or anything else that suggests itself. Write wherever the prompt inspires you, fiction or non-fiction, prose or poetry. Do try and keep things at a PG-13 level, though.

Instructions:
Simply post your blog's URL in this thread to join. Each post should be less than 1000 words if possible. Read and comment on other participants' posts if you possibly can--they'll be doing the same for you!

I'll let you know in this thread when it's your turn.
Once your turn comes up, you have two days to complete your post. When you are finished, please add a link to your post on the thread. If you signed up but find yourself unable to participate or need to be moved around in the schedule, please PM me or post in the thread. If you fail to post on your blog and on the thread within two days, I'll bump you down to the end of the line on the third day; you'll get a second chance at the end of the month.

Please include a list of all participants' blogs (not necessarily their actual posts for the month) in your blog post, and keep in mind we're not starting until later in the month to give people time to sign up.

All credit to Frank Frazetta for the title. It was too good not to use.

Orion, you have a very cool theme on your blog (archiving non-existent books)...I tried to leave a comment on your blog but couldn't because I'm not a wordpress user...

Thanks! You should be able to leave a comment even if you don't use Wordpress, though. You just have to provide an email address and a name (not necessarily your real one).

Now that's not just me being selfish and wanting a blog comment, but people in the chain are expected to read and comment if they can and a lot of us use Wordpress :)

Good enough? What's the first step?
Wait until it's your turn, and then write a blog entry based on the prompt and post a link to it in this thread. Simple as that! Of course you can write it beforehand if you want more time too.
