I have had a book scanned that was published in hardcover (I got my rights back from the publisher). I want to put it on Kindle, but I need to find a good copy editor to go through the scanned manuscript. I could do it myself, but I know my eyes will slide over mistakes. This happens when you edit yourself.
I don't want mistakes! Where do I find someone who is really good? The Internet is so vast. Anyone can hold themselves out to be an expert in anything.

Okay, I don't know where you can find a good copy editor, but what may help is to use a text-to-speech converter (including punctuation) and listen to it slowly, you should be able to nail the mistakes. Nothing slips past that thing.

In God I dwell, especially in Eugene OR
Sat Nam! (literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

Words into Print and Independent Editors both have excellent editors. Check each editor carefully to see what they like.

Wow, did I goof on this one! What I really need is an excellent proofreader, not a copy editor. My apologies.
