I love Boston, though North End is a little crazy.
Welcome and good luck with your writing ventures.

Welcome! I'm originally from a town on Boston's South Shore. I left in 1980 for a life in the military, but still a big Red Sox and Patriots fan. I try to see the Sox every year in a different city. What a great way to travel. I now live in Utah (Rocky Mountains) and write for fun.
My published works is a modern dystopia.
I hope you find this site useful in your writing pursuits.
Enjoy!

Welcome to AW.
I was born in Cambridge and I still miss it. My brother and his family live in Waltham. Growing up, we had Harvard communes living downstairs.

Welcome to AW!
Please read about AW basics here in the Newbie Guide (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66315)! Many questions about using this software can be found in the FAQ's menu in the handy blue bar at the 'top' of this page. Also handy for first-time users is the common acronym list (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21648). This helps you identify those mystifying abbreviations.
*Critiques* So many new members ask about having work critiqued! They should first read the 50 Post rule (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=199915). But when it comes to actually posting writing in the Share Your Work (SYW) area, this thread (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66193) addresses many first time questions, while this one covers
most common problems (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1239766&postcount=193). found in SYW posts. *Worth reading no matter how long you have been here!*
