Thus far, my only serious effort into writing has been my blog, and as a whole, I'm quite happy with how it has turned out. That said, I'm always looking for ways to improve it, and would love some of your opinions on that.

I'd obviously like to have your impressions on content and design, but any little tips would help. So please, have at it (http://korsgaardscommentary.blogspot.com/). :-)

I read the first two posts without even really intending to. I am not in love with the banner image but the whole thing seems well put together.

I briefly skimmed a couple of your posts, as well as the blog in total, and I think you do a really good job. I think we have some of the same interests in terms of subject matter, but with different writing styles, so I am interested in taking the time to go back and really go through more of your posts. Considering the amount of followers you have as compared to mine I expect to pick up some good tips by reading your work.

Very clean. Enjoyable articles. Easy to read on an iPhone, which is awesome.

You post are very well written and you're opinions and reasoning are solid. The top banner is somewhat of an eye sore though. I don't think i needs to be scrapped, just reworked in some way.

What did you think of those two posts? What about the banner bothered you?

I checked out your blog as well. I think I'm your first follower too.

Glad it looks good on the eye phone!

Glad you liked the articles! Second person about the banner though. What is it exactly about the banner?

I think it's mostly the hue and the vibrancy of the blue compared to the dark red background. If you have the original file, I would recommend maybe playing with the hue or the saturation just a little. The background image of the blog is a little brighter red and seems like maybe a better fit. You could try making the banner's background transparent.

I like the content very much, and haven't encountered many blogs that do personal reviews of film (although I'm rather a neophyte in the blog world).

I like the banner, but find the color scheme difficult to read, as others have already mentioned. The blue lettering on the menus blends too much with the background.

Found one typo that you might want to address in your "about me" sidebar: "I am an just an interesting person..." Kill the first "an".

Nice job overall!

I'll try and tweek it, thanks.

Also, thanks for following my blog, I returned the favor with yours.

Thanks for pointing out the typo, I'm about to overhaul the 'About the Author' tab tonight.

I sampled a couple posts, I liked the one on Media Frenzies over Dead Celebrities. Bravo!

I read your blog and enjoyed it. I's given me an idea about mine. The only thing I didn't like was the red background. Somehow it clashed too much with the rest and was sore on the eyes.

Glad I gave you some inspiration! What about mine did you like?
