I recently opened up a Twitter for my pen name and I've found a few writing related accounts like @AdviceToWriters, @WritingCraft and @WritersContests. I'd really like to find some more that people find helpful, funny, etc.

So, what writing Twitters do you follow and why do you like them?

The Writers Digest one is good, and there's a few people like Jane Friedman, Dan Black, Don Linn, Porter Anderson, David Gaughran, and Chuck Wendig who always give some good links/advice

If you start to follow a few like this you'll soon see who they tweet and re-tweet, and this is often a good way of finding new cool people too

Hope this helps :)

Synchronicity ... I just logged in to ask about who people follow on Twitter. I'm tired of Facebook.

And ... I live in Oregon, too. PNW twits of a kind.

I keep a list of writers I find valuable here that you can also follow if you like. I did take a couple of "big names" off just because I'm trying to reduce noise a little bit and I already follow their blogs - Janet Friedman and Nathan Bransford, among a few others.
