Hi there!
I am trying to set up an Amazon Seller Account and in the proces you have to give a telephone number and they call you back
I gave my telephone number and the dialling code as
0049(correct home number with city code)
An error message came up that they had called but didn't get through.
I'm wondering if there is a specific dialling code from the USA to Europe?

Dialing codes from the US to Europe start with 011, then the country code, then the city code, then the local number. So for example, if my mother in Florida was calling Paris, it would be 011 (international) + 33 (France) + 1 (Paris) + local number. Even the number of digits is different from country to country.

Here is a website (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/dialing.html?p2=195) that gives you dialing codes.

I hope this helps

It helps enormously! Thanks. I had left out the 011... trust the USA to be different!
So I'll try again.
