Site newbie and a marital challenge...

Hi everyone!

My name is Leah. And I write. A lot (100's of songs and poems, and about 5-6 books now). But I don't do anything with them. Never have.

However, my husband bet me a grand that I could not get published this year. And while I have never been interested in getting published, I also have never lost a bet with my husband. Right now he thinks I am awesome and can do everything, so he wants to change the balance of power and see me NOT do something. But I prefer the status quo because, frankly, it means I can theoretically keep his testicles in a jar in my office. (Can I say this here??) So I need advice and info and the word on da street is that this is a great place...for wisdom, experience, honest and constructive criticism, etc. So I am here to learn from everyone!

I would think, in theory, there are better places to keep them.

Welcome to the forums, me and my wife have had similar words regarding my efforts, she hasn't actually got my testicles yet, but every time I walk past her office she holds up an empty jar and shoots me a disturbing smile.

Good luck retaining your crown as the undefeated queen of your marriage.
