What To Include on a Jacket Flap

Hi all,

One of the agents I want to query has a website where they request specfic info. One of the things they want is a description of the ms written as though it appears on the inside jacket flap.

With that in mind, I shouldn't include the end of the story, right?

What they want is a standard query. That's just one way some people describe what you should write in the body of the query.

You NEVER have to include the ending. In fact most of the best queries I've read don't go beyond the first quarter of the book. The ending MUST be in the synopsis, perhaps you are conflating the two?
