Help reducing indent of whole document

Annoyingly, and for reasons above my understanding, my whole novel is indented to .7. I have tried to select all, paragraph, first line, .5. I have tried moving the ruler to .5 and it won't indent back unless I want to go through manually and move every paragraph back with just a nail, hammer, and backspace.

I am assuming there is a faster and easier way to do this, seeing how I must have accidentally done it once already.

Oh and I'm using word 2010.

Assuming your document is already open:

1. Select all. Edit -> Select All
2. Reformat the selection. Format -> Paragraph
3. Assuming you want .5" paragraph indents, select the following values. Left: 0, Right: 0, Special: First Line, value: .5
4. Click OK.
