Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a database of addresses for glossy editors who accept e-queries (pay or free, and if pay, is it worth the subscription price?)

Or do most still prefer snail mail to the address on the masthead?

Thanks!

I haven't seen anything like that, but then I haven't been looking for it. The last directory I had was a book entitled: The Best of the Magazine Markets for Writers. My edition is from 2006 and I'm not sure if there's a more current issue out there.

I'd check the magazine web site, most of them have submission info.

Good luck, jeff

Email is usually the way to go. I think MediaBistro's How to Pitch guides are great for information and contact emails. It costs about $55 per year, but worth it if you want to write for the glossy pubs.
