Hi!
I've been here before, checking out a few threads, but I'm just now getting around to signing up.
I've written one full length MS, an urban fantasy that rolls in around 108K. The piece I'm just starting now is a regular ol' fantasy -- at least it seems to be heading in that direction. I've only been writing for about a year and a half, so I'm a newb in that respect as well…
One of my main reasons for being here is that Calgary has a pretty slim selection of writers / critiques groups to choose from, and that's what I really need. I'd love to find a few different beta readers or critique partners!
As for all the rest… I'm an avid reader of all things fantasy, dystopian, sci-fi, romance, or YA; a seasoned margarita drinker; a knitter of sweaters and hats; and I watch far too much hockey. Less importantly, in my day job I'm a graphic designer and project manager at a small exhibit display design company.
That's me, in a nutshell.
