I have come to regale you with fantastic stories of an irrelevant and trivial nature.

My name is Miranda. I'm 17 and, if you can't tell, I'm kind of obsessed with Game of Thrones.
heh, but I've yet to read the books so

I spend nearly every waking moment on tumblr, reblogging anything that tickles my fancy.

I like to write fiction and short stories and stuff.
I'm unashamedly fond of writing about mental illness.

Welcome! And er... For future reference the series is soooooo much better if you've read the books. You can still catch up for next season by reading Clash of Kings. I'm pretty sure watching the series spoils the books more than reading the books spoils the series.

Miranda, I don't read fantasy, but both our kids teamed up to bully me into reading them. I had to ask them lots of who's-that-again? questions, but they were so-o-o good that I bought the series in hardcover. And--eat your hearts out, people--the new one is autographed.

So enjoy the HBO series, but know that when you get around to the books, you're in for an experience even better.

Yeah, it's weird, huh? People here are essentially about as pleasant as people you meet in real life, instead of being buttwads like so many people you meet on the internet are. So while we have our grouches and our angry people, mostly we're just regular people who realize we're among our own kind.
