Hi!

A year ago, I woke up with a story and anorexia. After losing 35 pounds, my weight stabilized. My mind may not stabilize until I finish the book.

The first 100k draft I tore up. At least I learned more about the characters. The second draft I sent to a professional editor. He suggested rewriting in first person and changing a few minor things in the plot. I'm midway through third draft.

I spent ten years answering inquiries on behalf of a support group for the parents of children born between the sexes. The protagonist in my novel was born with a genetic condition resulting in short stature, a pixie face, and a sexually ambiguous body.

I have a great crit group, but can always use more constructive suggestions.

I look forward to reading your writing.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
