Okay, I have edited digital ARC copies of Super Zombie Juice Mega Bomb (SZJMB) ready. You don't have to commit to giving it a review, just consider doing so. You can post to your blog, or review sites like Amazon, B&N, GoodReads, etc.

I have them in PDF and Kindle format; if you'd like one, just let me know.

Also, I'm working on a blog tour for the month of October. I'd like to fill up everyday, so if you have a blog, please consider signing up (I don't care if it's a small blog).

I'm going to be giving out a Zombie Survival Kits each week (complete with zombie snot and water guns), as well as printed and e-copies of the book.

For the blog tour, just let me know what you'd like to do; I'm planning on interviews, book excerpts, guest posts, posting one of my shorts, even just an announcement would be appreciated.

I'd like to get as many people participating as possible, so if you have other ideas, or like to be involved in some other way, please just let me know!

Ohh, I just got this as I was typing, in-progress now final cover update:

Mware.

How cool. I love the illustration, and your book sounds like something kids would love. I have a blog I want you to visit and tell me if it looks like something you'd be interested in having your article on.

We could do an interview along with a giveaway of some kind. Let me know what would be most appealing to you and we'll see if we can work it out.

Good luck on this. I'm sure you'll get other offers of assistance.

That's one of the few advantages with self-pub--you can pick your own cover artist; of course you get to pay him too.

mike, I'll read and review but I won't be able to get to it until mid to late september. I have a nook but don't know much about using it other than getting books from B&n. Can I read pdfs on it?

Yes, I guess you might be a little busy, what with your own book coming out--next week, right? :)

I just need to get it to you in epub format (for the nook). My father has one, so if you have trouble getting it on, let me know. I've got a program somewhere to convert the book to epub; I'll get one sent over so you have it on hand for when you manage to locate some free time.

Thanks, Dee and best of luck with the release of Wolf Storm!

Also, it probably won't work out for Dee with the timing. But if any published authors want to review it for the possibility of offering a marketing blurb for the backcover/Amazon description, let me know. I'd probably need it by mid month though, so not much time (do have a couple already lined up). Of course, I'll understand if it turns out to not be your thing.

Mware, I've been out of the kiddie loop for a while now, having parted with my agent and mainly working on some adult projects. But I just wanted to pop in and say how much I love that cover. Best of luck.

Thanks, Hedge. I hate to see you focusing on adult projects, but I can see how it might be the right move for you (especially with the market now).

Your determination as an author is inspiring!

Good luck with all those plans mware. I may be coming back and stealing ideas someday if and when I ever get a book published. The cover art is messing my with my head! I swear the clouds are moving and so is the smoke on the zombies head. It looks like the green glow is going to come right out of the graveyard.

I love the clouds too. Unfortunately, once they put the title in, it's going going to cover most of them. I'm going to ask for the title as a separate layer, I might be able to make the words slightly small in the print version.

First, let me say thanks to everyone who posted, pm'ed, or e-mailed me with messages of support, offers to read, or host the tour. You guys (and gals) rock!

I've got 6 blogs booked and several more pending. I've decided to giveaway a hard copy at each stop, so if anyone else is so included, PM and as I'd love to have more sites on board.

My artists kind of bailed on me, so I had to finish the title and layout myself, but I think it came out pretty good (see original post). Plus, I've uploaded to Amazon and already have two very positive reviews, yippee!

I just wanted to give everyone an update and say, THANK YOU!!!!

I'm so glad everything is working out! I've been following e-publishing for awhile now and I hope you have the best of luck! I have one of your short stories on my Kindle ;)

Sucks about your artist! But I know how that goes! As in I've been flaked on a lot.

Thanks CheG. I've been lucky with artists on DA. But I know some authors use sites like eLance, where the funds are held in escrow until the job is complete.
Mine did finish the artwork, so it worked out.

I think publishing a few shorts is a good way to test the waters; I might add a link to you signature. I've gotten lots of traffic (and thus, I think, sales) from my links in my signature. Best of luck to you too!

Apparently, free is the new 99¢ in eBooks. So, I've lowered the price on SZJMB to Free.
Here's the link.

I'm not good at the whole twitter thing, so if anyone has a decent twitter account, a RT of the following would be appreciated:
