Hello!
My name is Anya and I am new here! I have been googling like crazy trying to get together a list of agents to query- and everything keeps coming back to the water cooler. I figured I needed to get in on this action myself:)
I have recently finished and polished up a contemporary ya novel and am starting step two, a little daunting to say the least! Glad to be here!

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

My friend and I are currently at the pre-querying stage, too- not nearly so organised about it, though.

Hi! Oh, I might be able to help with that list. I found this: http://www.darkangelwritingtools.com/p/list-ya-agents-coming-soon.html
and I've queried every agent on there. I heard back from one (rejection) but they're all pretty solid. I suggest Googleing the name of the specific agent and then "Absolute Write", because usually the first result is the 'background check', which is really helpful. Just incase the agency ISN'T ligit.
