Hi all!

I've been reading and figured it was time to join the conversation. I write a combination of poetry (for myself) and statistical research (for work), which is hard to explain sometimes. I'm hoping to meet some like minded people here.

Looking forward to getting to know people.

Thanks for the welcomes!

I wish it was statistical research about food, but more often it's about energy efficiency -- for buildings and not edibles. When I figure out how to work that into my cooking projects I'll have it made.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

:) A statistician as a poet actually makes perfect sense to me. Statisticians take lots of data and break it down into something condense and consise. Poets do the same with ideas. I myself am a theoretical Mathmetician who works in Air Traffic Software. I have to battle to write anything without explaining the full history and reasoning behind every word and movement.

Welcome!
