Hi there,

My name's Claire Demmer and I have been a writer all my life and a playwright for about three years. I have discovered that I infinitely prefer writing plays as opposed to stories or novels, as I despise writing flowery descriptive passages! I recently (in July) launched Off The Wall Plays as a means to get the works of up and coming playwrights out there. We publish stage and screenplays. We have a few playwrights who publish with us, but obviously would love many more. I would really appreciate any tips writers can give me - both good and bad, that would inspire confidence in the company and get people to publish with us. If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
