Hi. I have been visiting this site for almost a year and recently joined. You guys saved me from being scammed by a 'publisher'. I'm a poet and so technically, i'll probably have a tougher time than most of you. Currently, the full manscript of my poetry collection is with Tracy Brennan who represents internationally bestselling author Terry Prone (yay for me for doing the almost impossible). Some of the memorable moments of my career as as follows:
1. Kate Johnson of the Georges Borchardt agency called my work, ''Beautiful and poignant''. Unfortunately, the agency was not taking on new poets and had to decline. Sigh.
2. Bill Clegg of William Morris Endeavor also praised my work. Unfortunately, he ALSO wasn't taking new poetry. I cried for hours after that.
would love hear what stage your careers are as well.
