Greetings!

I am new here and dropped in to introduce myself. I am 27 y/o. I am just now getting serious about writing. I hope to spend at least as much time writing as I do posting.

I much prefer to communicate with others on IRC, DAL net specifically, but have not had much luck finding a decent spot. I usually keep IRC open while I write and hop between writing and chatting.

I hope to start a critique group on IRC. It really is a great way to share bits of work with a group and have ACTIVE Discussions/Critiques.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Take some time and read the Newbie Guide and the Stickies found
at the top of Forum pages. They are your best guide to learning about

Don’t forget to read the FAQ regarding posting pictures at AW.

Hi Tilven! Welcome.

I like your idea about IRC. I hope it goes well. I'm sure quite a few people would appreciate it :)
