I've wanted to draw comic books all my life, and began taking it seriously about ten years ago. I was always coming up with ideas, characters, plots, and stories, yet struggled to find a writer to collaborate with. One day I just started writing them out myself, and I never looked back.
I don't really draw anymore.
But I write every day, at least 250 words. It is unbelievable finally being able to get these ideas out of my brain-meats and onto the page.
I have written three short stories, five comic scripts of varying length, and am working on my first novel. I've always been an avid reader, and when I'm not writing I'm usually reading something, anything I can get my hands on.
I have many friends now that are writers, professional AND amateur, and I love having jam sessions with them. It's amazing what you can come up with when you have multiple perspectives.
Which brings me here, to Absolute Write. I hope that I can learn a lot from the rest of you, and that we can all become better writers through advice and constructive criticism.
I look forward to being an active member here, and seeing the brilliant stories you all have to offer the world.
