Hello!

I am looking for a professional line editor who is very good at his/her craft.

I have been facing rejections for sometime now and the suggestions have mostly been the same. English is my second language so a line edit would be helpful.

Please reply if you can suggest me a good LINE EDITOR. I already know that it's a writer's job to edit their novel etc.

Thanks in advance

Tweety, what genre do you write in, and do you need the proofreading to be for American English or Commonwealth English?

I do line edits. I provide a free, 5-page (250 words per page) sample. Send me a PM and we can work out the details.

I've used Robin Smith of Robin Smith Ink. She does a good job at fair price.

For more of a critique with some editing I like the University of Wisconsin @ Madison's Department of Continuing Studies (www.dsc.wisc.edu)

I sent back your sample edit, Tweety. Let me know if that's what you need. :)

I think Debra Doyle is available for line-editing. She's a full-time professional writer who has published about a zillion books and short stories. She has a PhD in English, so her use of the language is impeccable. Her rates are reasonable, and she's incredibly attentive to detail. And she's a very nice lady. (Her partner's not a bad bloke, either ;-) )
