Google has begun issuing a warning about a particular type of malware that could be on the user's PC. As of now the warning only concerns Windows users.
If you get this warning it's important to take the steps needed to remove the malware from your computer. If you have one of the better security software packages, and it's up-to-date, you probably don't have much to worry about.
I notice in the link below that Google says this is "an experiment to try and protect consumers" -- which could mean this is just a new Google function, or it could mean they think this is more serious than they're saying. I don't have complete information.
