I've been lurking here for weeks, reading and absorbing and learning so many valuable things. I don't even remember how I stumbled across this site but I'm so glad I did.
A few months ago, I began writing again after a fifteen year dry spell. Well, I owned a business and had three children in those years as well, so it's not as though I wasn't doing anything. I was not, however, writing creatively.
In February, I wrote a collection of short stories for my mother as a gift for her 75th birthday. She loved it (of course, she's my mom!) but I loved writing it too. Since then I've written something every day. I plan to combine a few of these "somethings" into a cohesive story and with all the insight and resources I've found here, I am confident that I can do that!
