I recently used Track Changes with Word 2011. As a result, all my insertions are in red and are underlined. I can turn off the red and underlines, but if I close the document, the next time I open it, the insertions are in red and underlined again.
Is there any way to change the default so that when I reopen the document, the default is to not use red and to not underline the previous insertions?

I don't use 2011, but this (or something similar) should work.
If you don't have the Reviewing toolbar turned on, right click somewhere in the toolbar area and turn it on.
Find the Accept Change tool on the Reviewing toolbar, click for the dropdown menu, then Accept all Changes to Document. This will mean that you accept all previous changes to the document (if that is truly what you want to do). If you don't want to accept the changes previously made (yet), but still don't want to see the red text, turn off Markup from the View menu.

So simple! Thanks, AC!
