Hello, all. I'm not a long-time lurker like many of the others introducing themselves - I just came upon this forum yesterday - but I have already spent hours reading posts on all topics. Very vibrant community; I'm happy to see a lot of constructive feedback rather than the snarking I've noticed on some other forums.
I'm a freelance writer (I make my living writing articles online) finishing up the first draft (well, really draft 1.5) of my first novel. I am a stereotypical reclusive writer holed up in a dark cabin in the woods and don't often seek help from others, but I'm aware that this is not necessarily a good thing. I'm hoping that hanging out here a bit will help me improve and perhaps I can help others as well.
