I have migrated from "Creative writing forums" here in order to escape the flaws of the forum. This seems to be a much better alternative.

Currently I am still 15 years old (will upgrade on the 4 of May) and I am writing a fiction horror novel at the moment. It is at 25000 words and I hope to finish at least in a few years.

I am also a learning piano player, a 3D game modeler, a reading addict and an average artist.

Please ignore my age, for my experience is far greater than of the average person because of the books I have experienced.

I greet thee back. Welcome, and good luck with the novel.

In writing, age I don't think means too much because authors are always learning. It's a profession that cannot be perfected. Welcome to the boards; I too recently left a writing forum to escape its flaws. I drift around the internet to different writing places, but in the end I also come back here. I've decided to stay for good now, no forum can match the awesome-ness of AW :D

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

P.S. So you learn something new today, the use of both 'fiction' and 'novel' to describe a work/book is a sign that you don't understand the terms. There is no such thing as a 'non-fiction novel'. :D :Hug2:

Yes, I know about the 50 post rule. But since "fiction" and "novel" do not add up... I will research it, thanks.

Welcome! There's tons of writing opportunities for young writers, and the Scholastic Art and Writing awards (like the PUSH novel contest) are a great chance for anyone who can enter. You should... :)

Don't worry about your age, because I'm younger (13, which is the minimal age for joining a forum according to federal laws). So welcome!

Wow, I never received so many replies at once. Well... Once. But those were all negative.

Thanks!

Unsolicited advice from an "old" person: Don't stop the piano, the writing, or the art! I waited way too long to start doing creative things that make me happy. Wish I could go back and have the added experience from beginning early on. Good for you that you have so many diverse interests!

Enjoy your time here, there are a lot of friendly people!
